• Spearheaded initiatives for news ideas which included special sections such as New Americans, Jersey Alive, Jersey Sun, Buzz, Wellbeing section.
• Redesigning sections for the newspaper, software QuarkXpress, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Designed and implemented communication and content pieces, including magazines, news sections, feature sections and special projects and other materials as needed.
The News-Press Project Designer
• Art directed special projects and feature sections for the daily newspaper in English and Spanish. To inform the reader of the activities and with innovative design solutions.
• Provided graphic support to editors, photographers and writers to ensure time management organization across the entire newsroom and print.
• Performed daily duties to ensure the newsroom and art department communication.

• Responsible for the visual style of Jersey Alive weekend tabloid. Responsible for the visual style of parent and Child magazine. This resulted in an increase of 20% in pages published.
